Gujarat NEET Counselling 2026 is conducted by ACPUGMEC (Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses) for MBBS and BDS admission in Gujarat for the academic session 2026-27. Students who have qualified NEET UG and are domicile of Gujarat can apply for state quota seats. There are 41 medical colleges in Gujarat with around 7,250 MBBS seats and 1,340 BDS seats. What is Gujarat NEET Counselling?

Gujarat NEET Counselling 2026 is the centralised seat allotment process for MBBS and BDS admissions under the 85% state quota in Gujarat. It is conducted by ACPUGMEC. Candidates who qualify NEET UG 2026 and hold a Gujarat domicile can register and participate. Separately, candidates may also participate in MCC counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Gujarat offers seats in government, GMERS (government-aided), and private medical colleges.

Gujarat NEET Counselling 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

  • NEET UG Qualification: Must have qualified NEET UG 2026.
  • Gujarat Domicile: Gujarat domicile certificate is required for 85% state quota seats. Both state quota and local quota seats are available.
  • Age: At least 17 years old as on December 31, 2026.
  • Academic Qualification: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/SEBC).

Gujarat NEET Counselling 2026 – Rounds

  • Round 1: First seat allotment based on NEET rank, category, and choices. Allotted candidates must report and confirm.
  • Round 2: For seats remaining vacant after Round 1.
  • Mop-Up Round: For seats still vacant after Round 2.
  • Stray Vacancy Round: Final college-level round for remaining unfilled seats.

Gujarat NEET Application Form 2026

  • Candidates must enroll on medadmgujarat.org. The NEET UG 2026 roll number (from your NEET Admit Card), Gujarat domicile details, and category certificate are required.
  • After registration, candidates must fill and lock choices for government, GMERS, and private medical colleges before the deadline.
  • ACPUGMEC releases round-wise allotment lists with closing ranks. Candidates should monitor all rounds carefully.
